Seef Mall Half Marathon 2024

Join us for the Seef Mall Half Marathon, and enjoy a spectacular view of the city in a rare opportunity where the road is closed for traffic. This year we introduce teams relay and each team will consist of at least 2 runners and max 4 runners. The race will have 4 stages and each stage is 5.25km.

Location:

Start/Finish Line: Toys R Us car park (Seef Mall, Seef District)

Participant Parking: Runner have to park in Seef Mall multi car park

Toilets: Available at Gate 5 and 6

Individual Race Timing:

• Race start at 7:00AM.
• Timing begins when the Runner crosses the start line.
• Cut off time at 10:30AM. Race time after the cut off time won’t be counted.

Team Timing:

• Timing begins when the 1^st team member crosses the Start Line.
• Timing ends when the 4^th point is completed and crossed the Finish Line.
• A timing strap will be supplied to the Team Captain on the day of the race. It must be worn on the ankle of the first relay runner and then passed on to each subsequent runner in the team until the finish line in order to record the timing for the team and be eligible for Winner Trophy. The timing strap must be returned to the Race Organizers after the race.

Number of Runners per Team:

• Teams are allowed minimum of 2 runners and maximum of 4 runners per team.

Award Ceremony:

• Individual:

o   Trophies and Cash Prizes to Top three overall (Male/Female): 1^st BD300, 2^nd BD200, 3^rd BD100

o   Trophies to Top three finishers in each Age Group (Male/Female): 16-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+

o   General Relay Teams: Trophy to Top Three winners
